Senior Accountant
A venture-backed SaaS company approaching $60 million in ARR is hiring a senior accountant as it builds toward an eventual audit-ready finance function. Reporting to the Controller on a five-person accounting team, you will own a meaningful slice of the monthly close rather than a single reconciliation. The company runs NetSuite with Avalara and Bill.com integrations and is implementing revenue automation this year, giving the right candidate visible project experience. Growth into an Accounting Manager role is realistic within two years.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, hybrid with two onsite days in the Denver Tech Center
Start Date
Ideally before the next quarter close
What you'll do
- Own assigned areas of the monthly close including journal entries and accruals
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription and services contracts
- Assist with annual audit requests and PBC schedule preparation
- Identify and implement process improvements to shorten the close cycle
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years of accounting experience including full-cycle month-end close
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- NetSuite or comparable mid-market ERP experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or CPA candidate a plus
